Of all the food delivery services, I dislike Seamless the most. They have such a monopoly on delivery yet charge their restaurants and patrons an arm and a leg.
Their delivery employees are the absolute worst of all the other services. I consistently tip very high - practically 25-30% because I live on the 4th floor and yet still 80% of the time, the delivery personnel never come up the stairs. Some of the restaurants are only 4 blocks away. So I tip 15-20 bucks for a delivery guy to walk 3 blocks. During the pandemic, I have had 2 abdominal surgeries and cannot walk up and downstairs so I order out only to wonder where my food is when they buzz my door but don't come upstairs. At least Postmates and Uber Eats allows you to rate the delivery personnel, Seamless should do the same. I don't want to give a poor rating to the restaurant, its not their fault and they need good ratings. But the delivery personnel should absolutely be held accountable.
I once placed an order with Shake Shack only for the delivery guy to call me and tell me the restaurant cancelled the order. I then called Shake Shack and was told they cannot cancel orders made through Seamless, and that this is what Seamless drivers do so that they don't have to deliver.
Seamless, please create a pop up in your app to rate the delivery - not the restaurant - after an order is complete. Your delivery service is horrendous and the delivery personnel have way too much freedom to scam people.
I placed my order with a Mexican restaurant, and delivery time was gjven. Within 20 minutes (or less), I received a text msg that my order was cancelled. No explanation as to why, and by the time I get to the restaurant to pickup my order, bring it home, it was cold! Terrible service!

First and last time seamless user here. They canceled my order 1 hour after I placed it. Now it is late and I am not even sure if I can get food today. Not sure why my order was canceled. Apparently the restaurant doesn't do delivery on this day? But if it does not, then why was I able to place the order, and also, why did it take them one hour to tell me they cannot bring me food? I have been traveling all day and this sucks. The person on the phone at seamless was 0% help. Going to stick with Uber eats now.
I gave them 5 stars because of their customer service. They are not responsible for the food, that's the restaurant's responsibility. On several occasions the restaurants I have chosen have messed up the orders and Seamless has reimbursed me for the messed up orders. No fuss no muss. No arguing, no stress. I really appreciate that.
Convenient, has lots of options with low/no extra delivery fees compared to other services, and great customer service.
My order never arrived. While my delivery estimate was 30 minutes, after I waited for 2 hours, I had to contact customer service, just to see that my food had never been picked up, the kitchen had closed, and my driver had simply driven home. I wouldn't have even received a refund or any notification of this, if I hadn't had contacted customer service. I'm not usually critical, but they literally have one job - to deliver food. And they couldn't manage that.
I love that it's so effortless to order your meals without ever picking up a phone. It's so convenient.
I ordered a tally wankler from the ol' moonshine highs. Next fing i know I've got 2 shoeless sandlewood shakers on each side if me. Now im not the type of bloke to tell porky pies outside a school but dang if i do and danged if i don't. 5 stars all around mate. I for one will be frequently tying the proverbial knot if you get my driwft.
LITERALLY the worst food delivery service I've ever had to use. My husband's employers provides credits ever week for us to order food through the service, and we won't even use the free money anymore... that's how terrible this service is.

Not "seemless" at all. They cancelled my order and blamed the restaurant. I called the restaurant and they said the driver left before taking the food which they had prepared. So they cancelled for no reason and the restaurant (super small family owned business) had already made all the food and would lose money because I got a refund.
Seamless is good to have, they are quick, and always ready to solve your problem. I have never had anything bad with them. If the food that I ordered was not the right food. They are willing to work with me, and send my money back to my account.

Waited over an hour and a half for the food even though at first it said up to 20 minutes. Food was barely warm and soggy so you know it was ready way long before it was delivered. The food was also was tossed onto the doorstep, and just left there. The driver was rude as well.
Stop doing this please, this is awful.

Scam. Total scam. Check with your credit card company that they have billed your card accurately. Would never use Seamless again. Just order direct from the restaurant. OR, if you do use Seamless, confirm order with the restaurant by calling them for their confirmation.

Absolute scam. Do NOT waste your money! They have a "tracking" system to show when your food gets "delivered" but when it shows "delivered" there's no delivery in site. Had to call them after two hours to find out they couldn't contact my delivery driver and then seamless decided my order never even made it to the restaurant. Still waiting on a refund. What a joke of a company.
